Job summary

The Garcha Group, Singapore’s boutique hotel group, is hiring for a reservations associate. You will handle guest inquiries, identify suitable room types, explain policies, and document special requests across Maxwell Reserve, The Vagabond Club, and The Serangoon Club.

Proficiency in English and 1–2 years in hospitality are preferred. Training on Opera PMS/Cloud and Marriott systems is provided. Enjoy staff discounts and Marriott-connected perks.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Operates Opera PMS/Cloud and Marriott Global System for reservations and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all correspondence are replied within 24 hours.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type; verify availability and rate.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests.
• Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue; input and access data in reservation system.
• Indicate special room reservation types by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.
• Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
• Any other duties/tasks as requested by management.

Key Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field.

Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues is a must.

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
