Job summary

The National University of Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager (Research Security Management) to develop and enforce research security policies, oversee risk assessment of collaborations and grants, and ensure regulatory compliance across the university.

You will collaborate with faculty and administrative units, maintain documentation, and contribute to training programs in risk management, with proficiency in English and Chinese preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate and document risk assessment findings.
• Experience in policy implementation and compliance workflows.
• Ability to work with diverse university stakeholders including faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

• Policy implementation: Collaborate with research and administrative units to execute research security procedures and protocols, including supporting regular management meetings and reporting requirements.
• Pre-project assessment and post-approval monitoring: Liaise with research teams and conduct fact-finding for initial risk assessment of research activities with potential research security risks.
• Training and awareness: Craft informative materials and update training programmes to promote awareness amongst the university research community on the importance and requirements of research security.
• Case documentation and archival: Maintain consistent and reliable documentation on research security cases and archive such documentation in the unit's database.
