Who we’re looking for

The Scope

You will be part of Esco Aster’s EVs/Exosomesdivision and contribute to the company’s CDMO mission and objectives. You willperform research and process development activities, mainly in support ofEVs/Exosomes division, in collaboration with internal and externalstakeholders, clients and partners.

Report to: Head of Scientific & SalesOperations

Job Responsibilities

• Execute service contracts from researchto clinical grade EVs/Exosomes for upstream and downstream bioprocessing.
• Utilize Tide Motion to generateEVs/Exosomes alongside with characterization via FACS and equivalenttechniques.
• Perform process characterization asneeded based on project scope.
• Work jointly with other departments (DSPprocessing/analytical development/QC) to develop end to end continuousprocess with process intensification.
• Be involved with cross-functional teamfor Internal transfer from GLP into clinical trial manufacturing which mayinclude validation (e.g. FAT) and engineering runs.
• Write and execute experimental plans aswell as white papers, technical reports, presentations.
• Support sales, Business Development,product specialists and associated departments as subject matter expert byassisting in technical proposal and costing generation.
• Support product and service sales inapplication, marketing content and quotations.
• Aid in working with cross functional teamto develop and test new tools for producing Exosomes /EVs.
• Aid in writing of user requirementspecifications.

Requirements

• PhD Degree in Biology or related disciplines.
• Bioengineering/Cell biology Background.
• At least 1-2 years Cell Cultureexperience.
• At least 1-2 years related laboratoryexperience with good laboratory practices and pipetting skills (experiencein EVs/exosomes preferred).
• Experience using formulas and linkingspreadsheets in Excel.
• Strong computer, scientific, andorganizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral andwritten) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as partof a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, performmultiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions,take initiative and self-learn to keep up with market trends and complywith company policies.
• A friendly and pleasant disposition ableto work with team.
• Experience in the production,purification, and characterisation of exosomes or nanoparticles is highlyfavourable but not strictly required (OJT provided).
