Qualifications

• PhD in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, materials science, physics or related fields.
• Independent thinker with excellent communication and teamwork.
• Electrochemistry, spectroscopy, microscopy, and computational modeling expertise.
• Strong track record in battery research with publications in reputable journals.
• Strong problem solving and creative research design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on battery materials, electrolytes, and interphase engineering.
• Design and perform advanced electrochemical testing.
• Synthesize novel molecules and materials for battery electrolyte and interphase designs.
• Develop AI/ML methods to accelerate materials discovery for battery applications.
• Publish research outcomes and present at international conferences.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners, including industry and international research groups.
• Contribute to grant proposals, project reports, and lab safety/management operations.
