Job summary

NTU Singapore seeks a Research Associate to contribute to the project Geometric Optimization and Design in Learning and Robotics. You will work under Dr Cyrus Mostajeran, focusing on geometry, analysis, and data science to achieve rigorous mathematical results.

The role involves designing and testing algorithms, collaborating with partners, and preparing scientific reports and papers. The 6-month contract targets highly motivated researchers with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of analysis, differential geometry, optimization, mechanics, biophysics, robotics or control theory.
• Enthusiasm for applying advanced mathematical tools and techniques to applications including data science and robotics.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining rigorous mathematical results at the interface of geometry, analysis, and data science.
• Designing, implementing, and testing algorithms.
