Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant in the Human Potential Translational Research Programme (HPTRP), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The HPTRP aims to maximise human potential through a holistic, interdisciplinary approach, focusing on human studies and well-being across the lifespan.

Appointment will be on a one-year contract with possible extension. The role supports IRB management, KPI tracking, governance, and communications for ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Prior research experience, preferably involving human subjects, is advantageous.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and design tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide research administrative/secretariat support including IRB applications and management.
• Track research KPIs and governance activities.
• Coordinate training and ensure required certifications (GCP, CITI).
• Conduct internal quality checks and audits related to research ethics and regulatory compliance.
• Support study governance and liaise with Principal Investigators/researchers.
• Monitor and report study performance metrics (bibliometrics, etc.).
• Assist in developing retention strategies for studies.
• Create/manage content for websites and social media.
• Perform ad hoc research administration duties.
