Job summary

Rock Bund Capital seeks a technically minded trader to oversee live systematic trading, monitor automated systems, enforce risk controls, and intervene when necessary. You will work with researchers, engineers, risk, compliance, and operations to protect the firm and refine trading strategies.

Candidates should have live trading experience, a strong technical or quantitative background, and familiarity with Python, Linux, and SQL. Remote work is possible with travel to Asia offices as required.

Qualifications

• Live trading experience in traditional markets with risk-aware decision making.
• Technical or quantitative foundation from education or practical experience.
• Practical familiarity with automated trading systems and market data, order and execution systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live systematic trading across markets, sessions, strategies and instruments.
• Verify trading readiness, monitor alerts, pause or modify when needed.
• Execute orders balancing urgency, liquidity and execution risk.
• Enforce pre-trade and post-trade controls with risk/compliance.
• Investigate abnormal trading incidents and coordinate incident response.
• Analyse execution quality and identify liquidity changes.
• Develop and communicate trade ideas and research hypotheses.
