Job summary

Metabit in Singapore seeks a veteran Real-Time Risk & Trading Operations lead to supervise live quantitative strategies, monitor performance, and ensure system health. You will diagnose anomalies, coordinate with research and engineering, and act as the first line of defense for all live trading issues.

You will own incident response and platform improvements, drive postmortems, and coordinate with global brokers and exchanges.

Qualifications

• Must oversee real-time supervision of live trading strategies and system health.
• Deep understanding of FIX protocol mechanics and order lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Python for anomaly verification and risk logic checks.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Supervision: monitor strategy performance, positions, and system health; be first line of defense for live issues.
• Trading Operations & Support: handle intraday broker/exchange notifications and deployments to maintain trading continuity.
• Incident Response: exercise ultimate disposal authority under extreme conditions and own outcomes.
• Platform Improvement: drive end-to-end enhancements from postmortems to engineering delivery.
• External Liaison: coordinate with brokers and exchanges during outages or rule changes.
