Job summary

BAH Partners is building a centralised Execution Trading team in Asia. The Systematic Execution Trader will focus on APAC crypto markets and China futures, with potential to support global markets.

You will work closely with Quant Researchers, Quant Strategists, traders and engineers in a highly technical trading environment. The role offers exposure to crypto, futures and equities, with a fast-moving, quantitative culture and high-volume trading infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of systematic execution trading experience.
• Experience in buy-side trading environments such as hedge funds or prop shops.
• Strong understanding of electronic/systematic execution and market microstructure.
• Coding or scripting capability, with Linux experience.

Responsibilities

• Cover APAC crypto markets and China futures, with exposure to US equities.
• Collaborate with Quant Researchers, Quant Strategists, traders and engineers.
• Contribute to a centralised execution function to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Engage in fast-paced, technology-driven trading workflows.

Job description

A leading quantitative proprietary trading firm is building out a centralised Execution Trading team in Asia and is looking to hire a Systematic Execution Trader.

The team has been established to centralise execution and operational responsibilities across the business, allowing quantitative investment teams to focus on research and strategy development while improving execution quality and reducing operational risk.

The role will initially cover APAC crypto markets and China futures, with exposure to a growing U.S. equities business and potential to support additional global markets over time. You will work closely with Quant Researchers, Quant Strategists, traders and engineers in a highly technical trading environment.

Key Requirements

1. Ideally 2–5 years of systematic execution trading experience ;
2. Current experience within a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, asset manager or other buy-side trading environment
3. Strong understanding of electronic/systematic execution, market microstructure and trading workflows
4. Coding or scripting capability, with confidence working in a Linux environment
5. Strong awareness of global markets and macroeconomic developments
6. Prior Macro trading experience is not required
7. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, highly quantitative and technology-driven environment

Location

Shanghai or Singapore: Onsite
