Job summary

Rock Bund Capital is seeking a technically minded trader to oversee live systematic trading and act as a gatekeeper for production trading. You will monitor orders, PnL, and market conditions, enforce risk controls, and intervene when necessary.

The role blends live execution with research, requiring a curious mindset about market structure and macro developments. You will collaborate with quantitative researchers, engineers, risk, compliance, and operations across regions, with the flexibility

Qualifications

Live trading or execution experience in traditional markets.
Strong technical/quantitative foundation.
Familiarity with automated trading systems and related tooling.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English for collaboration.

Responsibilities

Oversee live systematic trading across markets, sessions, strategies and instruments.
Gatekeeper for production trading: verify readiness, monitor alerts, pause or modify trading as needed.
Execute orders and manage workflows balancing urgency, liquidity, and risk.
Investigate abnormal trading activity and incidents; coordinate cross-functional responses.
Develop and communicate trade ideas and research hypotheses with researchers.
