Shell Energy Asia is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to strengthen service reliability for our Data & Analytics landscape. You will automate toil, support 24x7 critical services, and drive AI-enabled operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes cloud engineering, observability, and governance, with collaboration across DevOps, security and product teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in IT Operations, application support and development for data & analytics platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting business-critical apps, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Experience with ITIL processes and end-to-end service integration.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational support for Data & Analytics apps and platforms with 24x7 support.
• Deliver changes, upgrades, and cutovers with readiness and risk control.
• Strengthen controls, security remediation, access governance and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with Product DevOps to improve observability and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of operations.
• Engage in project delivery, define operational requirements and AO outcomes.
• Own financial oversight including cost management and reporting.
