Job summary

Axiom is seeking Legal Consultants with margin lending and equity derivatives/prime brokerage experience to support our global investment banking client. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating equity‑backed financing documents (including margin loans) and related securities; advising on legal and regulatory issues related to equity financing and derivatives.

Qualifications

4-8+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) with directly relevant experience in margin loans and/or equity derivatives.
Strong experience with industry standard loan documentation (APLMA or similar) and equity derivatives products.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate documentation for equity‑backed financings, including margin loans using APLMA or similar industry standard loan agreements, and related security and ancillary documents.
Draft, review and negotiate equity derivatives documentation (e.g. total return swaps, collar financings and related confirmations)
Advise on legal and regulatory issues relevant to equity financing and equity derivatives transactions
