Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Service Manager based in Singapore to lead and optimize field service operations for Transmission & Distribution equipment. You will coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Tendering, Sales and customers to deliver safe, on-time projects within budget while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5–10 years of supervisory experience in T&D, knowledge of GIS/AIS, transformer equipment, and electrical regulations, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years' experience supervising teams in the Transmission & Distribution industry.
• Knowledge of GIS, AIS+GCB and Transformer equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and financial metrics incl. costing & estimation.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Knowledge of immigration for cross border work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field service operations, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality execution of site activities.
• Plan and optimize field resources, including Field Service Engineers, tools, equipment, and manpower.
• Monitor mobilization/de-mobilization of resources according to project schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical and operational support to field teams and resolve site issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with EHSQ standards and company policies.
• Develop field service teams through coaching and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for additional service work.
