Job summary

10x Genomics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to own cases, deliver high-quality on-site service at customer sites, and perform assembly, disassembly, and repair of analytical laboratory instruments. You will use test equipment and tools safely while meeting contract priorities across Singapore and APAC.

You will manage documentation, calibrations, software loading, preventive maintenance, and pre-staging of new equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or technology (or equivalent).
• Multi-year experience servicing analytical laboratory instruments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within Singapore and across Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair instruments to FRU level.
• Analyze complex issues and apply independent judgment.
• Assemble/disassemble instruments and perform calibrations.
• Support pre-staging of instruments for sales inventory transfer.
• Maintain inventory and ensure calibration certificates are current.
• Contribute to knowledge base and improve service delivery processes.
