Job summary

Ethos is seeking a director of clinical development to guide the training of an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks in clinical research. The role emphasizes experience with study reports, regulatory dossiers, and medical affairs materials, with a flexible commitment of 5–20 hours per week and fully remote work.

Candidates should have 5+ years in clinical research, biomedical science, or regulatory affairs, and excel in producing high-quality, audit-ready

Qualifications

• Direct experience authoring or reviewing clinical study reports, protocol synopses, or regulatory dossier modules for a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organization
• Deep familiarity with ICH-GCP standards, FDA/EMA regulatory expectations, and the scientific rigor required in investigator brochures and medical affairs materials
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: study reports, protocols, investigator brochures, dossiers, medical affairs slides, and publication plans
• Review and ensure regulatory and scientific accuracy of AI-assisted outputs in clinical development contexts
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align deliverables with project goals and timelines
