Job summary

Portcast, a Singapore-based logistics tech startup, seeks a Data Analyst Intern to join the Data team. You will work on data integrations, quality checks, and supporting QA and automation under the Data Lead.

You will build QA checks with Python and SQL, assist analysts with data queries and dashboards, and help integrate new data sources. This is a learning role with path to a permanent role for standout interns.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in a relevant field.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL and ability to write a script.
• Prior internship in Data Analyst/Business Analyst preferred in logistics/ecommerce/B2B SaaS data-heavy domain.
• Willingness to learn and curiosity.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Check ingested and system data for anomalies and gaps.
• Build and run QA checks, reports, and automations using Python and SQL.
• Assist Data Analysts on day-to-day customer data queries and dashboard upkeep.
• Support new data-source integrations, connecting carrier and market data into our system.
• Document what you build and what you find for team reuse.
