Job summary

Portcast, a Singapore-based logistics tech startup, seeks a Data Analyst Intern to join the Data team. You’ll work on data integrations, quality checks, and support dashboards while collaborating with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.

This hands-on learning role emphasizes curiosity and practical problem solving in a fully remote, globally distributed team with potential for a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in a STEM/data field.
• Able to write a query and a script with guidance to sharpen skills.
• Interest in data engineering, analytics, and QA workflows.

Responsibilities

• Check ingested data for anomalies and gaps and trace sources.
• Build and run QA checks, reports, and automations using Python and SQL.
• Assist analysts with day-to-day data queries and dashboard upkeep.
• Support new data-source integrations with team guidance.
• Document builds and findings for reuse by the team.
