Job summary

Ateca Executive Search is assisting a leading international bank in Singapore to recruit an experienced Relationship Manager. The role targets high-net-worth clients and requires bringing a portable client book and growing AUM from Singapore.

You will proactively engage clients, coordinate with product and investment teams to tailor solutions, and ensure strict KYC/regulatory compliance while expanding cross-border relationships across Asia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience as a relationship manager in private banking, international/offshore banking, or wealth management.
• Demonstrable track record of building and converting a client book with cross-border clients.
• Experience managing client assets from USD 10M–100M or above.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, a leading international bank, is growing its Relationship Manager teams in Singapore. This is a revenue-generating, book-building role for an experienced RM or Senior RM who can bring an existing client relationship book and grow assets under management (AUM) from Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring and port an existing client book, with a target range of USD 10M–100M in assets and grow AUM by acquiring and deepening NRI and international private banking relationships.
• Proactively engage existing and prospective clients to introduce the bank's Singapore wealth management and structured product proposition.
• Build, manage, and expand a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNI) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNI) relationships across target markets.
• Convert sourced prospects into onboarded clients, progressing through the team manager and market-head interview and review process.
• Work closely with product, structuring, and investment teams to deliver tailored solutions matched to client needs.
• Maintain full compliance with the bank's KYC, suitability, and regulatory standards throughout client acquisition and portfolio management.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience as a relationship manager in private banking, international/offshore banking, or wealth management.
• Demonstrable track record of building and converting a client book, with an existing or portable book in the USD 10M–100M range (minimum USD 10M).
• International banking exposure gained at a global or regional bank with a cross-border client base.
• An entrepreneurial "hunter" mindset, with strong client acquisition, relationship-conversion, and portfolio-growth skills.
