Job summary

Yellow Ribbon Industries Pte. Ltd. seeks an Operations/Security Associate to assist management in daily operations at Selarang Halfway House or Cosford Annex. You will help ensure resident safety and welfare and support reintegration efforts with Case Managers.

Responsibilities include screening, daily routines, check-in/out, incident reporting, and shift handovers. Prior experience in residential/secured settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Recognized Diploma in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in operations (especially in residential or secured settings), security or provost functions.
• Ability to manage people of varying profiles in a professional manner.
• Basic understanding of case management and counselling would be an advantage.
• Level-headed and able to de-escalate tense situations
• Strong listening and analytical skills
• Team Player with good interpersonal skills
• Resourceful and able to multi-task
• Computer Literacy with basic MS Word and Excel knowledge
• Able to work on rotational shift and the hours as indicated below and be deployable on off days when required on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security screening to ensure contrabands are not brought into the house.
• Facilitate the daily operational routine of SHWH or CA; meet residents' day-to-day needs and operational requirements.
• Manage check-in/check-out processes and provide daily headcount updates; flag unusual movements.
• Ensure smooth handover between shifts and communicate outstanding matters to the next team.
• Provide logistical support to residents and assist with moving bulky items when required.
• Conduct patrols and searches in Living Units to ensure resident safety.
• Work with Case Managers on resident progress records and information flow.
• Assist in grievance handling and preliminary investigations of incidents or disciplinary issues.
• Identify estate management defects and feed back for follow-up by Corporate Services.
