Singapore is seeking a competent Operations Officer to assist management in daily operations at Selarang Halfway House (SHWH) or Cosford Annex (CA) and to ensure safety and welfare of residents, while supporting reintegration efforts with Case Managers. Responsibilities include security screening, coordinating check-ins/outs, ensuring effective handovers, providing logistical support, conducting patrols, and assisting in grievance handling and estate management

Qualifications

• Recognized Diploma in any discipline.
• Experience in operations, security or provost functions.
• Ability to manage people of varying profiles professionally.
• Basic understanding of case management and counselling is an advantage.
• Strong listening and analytical skills; de-escalation ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security screening to prevent contrabands from entering the house.
• Facilitate daily operations, check-in/out and provide headcount updates.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and communicate outstanding matters.
• Provide logistic support and assist with moving bulky items when needed.
• Conduct patrols/searches inside Living Units and support case management records.
• Assist with grievance procedures and preliminary incident investigations.
• Identify estate defects and feed back to Corporate Services for follow-up.
