Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Podiatry, and Acupuncture services. You will assist therapists in delivering rehabilitative care, transport patients, set up treatment areas, monitor progress, and provide administrative support as needed.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as therapy assistant or similar healthcare support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in delivering rehabilitative treatments and interventions.
• Escort and transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed.
• Set up treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean and maintained.
• Observe and report on patient progress to therapists.
• Provide general administrative support as required.
