Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive accounting and auditing experience with deep technical knowledge of SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA.
• Senior leadership experience directing teams or departments at director level.
• Regulatory or standards-setting exposure in a regulatory environment.
• International engagement experience with regulatory bodies (IFIAR, IASB).
• Strong stakeholder management with government agencies and professional bodies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Practice Monitoring and Financial Reporting Surveillance programmes.
• Ensure high-quality inspections of public accountants and entities.
• Provide strategic accounting advice to standards committees.
• Lead reviews of legislation and policies to keep them relevant.
• Represent the organisation at international regulatory forums and build relationships.
• Lead process improvements and AI/digital transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to enterprise-level priorities as part of Senior Leadership Team.
