Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Operations project professional to lead regional trade initiatives within Group Operations. You will collaborate with GTS, Ops and Tech to define milestones, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of complex programs.

The role requires 3–4 years of project management experience, knowledge of trade systems, and strong communication to document requirements and train end users.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of project management experience with proven track record (waterfall or agile).
• Knowledge of Trade systems; experience as system end user is essential.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional testing, and end‑user training.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into user stories, test strategy and test cases.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Detail oriented, organized and agile, able to deliver within tight timelines.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and other project tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Regional Trade projects, collaborating with GTS, Ops and Tech and stakeholders to identify milestones and deliverables.
• Develop project plans identifying schedules, specifications, risks and contingency; handle multiple large-scale deliverables concurrently.
• Understand functional requirements, articulate and document user requirements and participate in review sessions with key stakeholders; continuously gathers feedback to track progress and mitigate risk.
• Maintain awareness of technical progress and risks; confer with technical personnel to resolve issues and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare project status reports and facilitate technical and non-technical meetings/design reviews to keep management informed of project status.
• Conduct review/walkthrough sessions with stakeholders for documents: user stories, functional specs, test plans/cases, rollout training materials.
• Track and monitor the production issues with Tech and Ops.
• Participate in pre-implementation prep and post-implementation support including end-user live verification during rollout.
