Job summary

PROFESSIONAL TESTING SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee end-to-end purchasing for the Singapore headquarters and support regional sister companies. You will ensure timely procurement, manage supplier performance, and drive cost optimization in a technical environment.

The role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, experience sourcing chemicals, lab equipment, and IT systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related discipline.
• Min 3 years purchasing experience in engineering/manufacturing/lab.
• Experience sourcing chemicals, lab supplies, equipment, or technical materials.
• Strong English communication and Chinese-language supplier liaison.
• Proficient IT skills with ERP or business systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Cost-conscious with good commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing for Singapore HQ and regional support.
• Source suppliers, evaluate quotations, negotiate prices.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead times; manage orders.
• Coordinate local and overseas deliveries and logistics.
• Maintain purchasing and supplier documentation for compliance.
• Support annual budget and track expenses.
• Drive cost optimization and process improvements.
• Assist internal audits and purchasing operations.
