Job summary

Personnel Link JobHub Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior logistics sales professional to identify and develop new business in Ocean freight forwarding or contract logistics. You will promote retention and upsell with existing customers and coordinate with the pricing team to secure competitive rates and space with carriers.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years in logistics, strong sales credentials, and solid knowledge across air, ocean, local transport, and warehousing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management preferred
More than 5 years’ experience in logistics/Ocean freight business
Proven track record in generating New Business Development/Sales account
Candidates with experiences working in a Global forwarding companies will be viewed favorably
Knowledge in overall logistics business (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehouse) is a plus
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in Ocean freight forwarding or contract logistics.
Promote existing customers’ retention, cross selling and upselling.
Work with Pricing team on Ocean freight to secure competitive rate and space with carriers.
