Job summary

BDx Data Centers in Singapore seeks a seasoned HR Business Partner to align people strategies with business goals across APAC. You will advise leaders on talent management, performance, workforce planning, and compliance while shaping an inclusive culture.

You will collaborate with the Head of HR and operate payroll with a vendor, manage HR operations, onboarding, and employee relations, and ensure local labour-law adherence across Singapore and other markets.

Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HRBP or HR generalist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and business acumen for Singapore, Southeast Asia or APAC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of HR and business leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide HR insights on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Handle employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
• Champion HR initiatives that promote an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
• Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits and payroll across Singapore and other countries.
• Oversee onboarding, employee engagement, and offboarding processes.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing with external vendor and ensure statutory compliance.

ROLE SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner works closely with the Head of HR and business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. The role acts as a strategic advisor on people-related matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Head of HR and business leaders to support and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Provide HR insights and guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law
• Handle employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans
• Champion HR initiatives that promote an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture
• Serve as the primary contact point for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits and payroll. Support HR operation and administrative matters in Singapore and other assigned countries.
• Manage the full spectrum of HR operations, from onboarding, employee relations and engagement, performance management, learning and development and off boarding.
• Manage the end-to-end payroll processing with external vendor, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance to local regulations.
• Ensure HR policies, processes and practices are in compliance with labour laws.
• Manage work visa application and regular statutory reporting.
• Manage regular audits, internal and external reporting, filing and documentation.
• Provide support for any HR-related matters or projects as directed by the Head of HR, as and when required.

QUALIFICATION

• University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HRBP or HR generalist experience preferred.
• Strong people skills with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and business acumen for Singapore, Southeast Asia or APAC.
• Prior experience in Data Center/Technology related industries is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with working in a cross-cultural environment
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong collaborator and able to work under ambiguities and face-paced environment.
• Familiarity with HRIS platform.
