People Business Partner — APJ (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

The People Business Partner — APJ plays a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business goals and enabling our hyper-growth across the APJ region. Working closely with business leaders across assigned markets, this role focuses on building strong relationships, providing strategic and tactical HR guidance, and driving initiatives that enhance the employee experience. The People Business Partner is a key collaborator in talent management, organizational development, employee relations and fostering a positive workplace culture across multiple markets and time zones.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Collaborate with business leaders across assigned APJ markets to understand their objectives, challenges and talent needs; provide strategic and tactical HR guidance and support the implementation of people strategies
• Partner with business leaders to assess and address organizational needs, contributing to organizational development initiatives that enhance team effectiveness
• Serve as a trusted advisor in employee relations matters across multiple markets, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and practices, and knowing when to scale to local specialists
• Drive performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews and development planning, across assigned markets
• Support business leaders in navigating organizational change initiatives, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition for employees
• Provide insights and analytics through HR reporting to track key HR indicators across the APJ portfolio and inform leadership decision-making
• Maintain consistent, timely PBP coverage across assigned markets and time zones, building trust with leaders despite limited local presence
• Serve as a point of contact for leaders on general HR matters, policy interpretation and people-related escalations

Success Profile:

• Proven experience as an People Business Partner, with experience operating across more than one APJ market
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HR best practices, with working awareness of employment law variations across APJ markets
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business objectives into effective HR strategies
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships remotely and across cultures
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and competing priorities across markets and time zones with limited local support
• Experience guiding leaders and employees through organizational change
