Job summary

Charterhouse has been exclusively appointed to identify an experienced Private Banking / Wealth Management Operations Leader. This opportunity suits a senior leader with broad product knowledge, judgement and drive to lead a demanding function. The role carries regional exposure and day-to-day responsibility.

You will oversee a broad operations portfolio, ensure reliable service delivery, strengthen controls, develop people, and support evolving business requirements across markets.

Qualifications

• Substantial Private Banking or Wealth Management operations experience, ideally within a large Private Bank.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience with senior leadership across multiple operational functions.
• Hands-on leadership approach with ability to manage detail while setting direction.
• Experience engaging senior bankers and product specialists and driving change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shared services and processing across middle office, settlements, corporate actions, derivatives, funds, fees, and reference data.
• Act as senior escalation point, delivering practical solutions to complex client, product, and transaction requirements.
• Apply operational knowledge across equities, fixed income, derivatives and funds.
• Lead onshore and offshore teams, strengthening accountability and capacity planning.
• Maintain governance, manage incidents, and close audit findings and control gaps.
• Simplify processes and automate while preserving day-to-day stability.
• Develop leaders, nurture talent, and establish succession plans.
