Job summary

Eames Consulting is partnering with a major financial institution in Singapore to lead regional digital and data engineering initiatives. You will direct software delivery squads, shape core application architecture, and drive platform strategies across Singapore and regional hubs.

The role owns the technical roadmap for core regional platforms, mentors leaders, and collaborates with executives to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions using Java, Python, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

15+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
8+ years leading regional or multi-squad teams.
Strong architectural design and data modeling skills.
Expertise in Java, Python, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure).
Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Oversee regional engineering squads across Singapore and offshore hubs delivering enterprise apps.
Define long-term architectural strategy and data models across Java, Python, microservices, and cloud environments.
Translate business requirements into scalable tech deliverables.
Drive engineering standards, system performance, data governance, and reliability.
Mentor squad leads and engineering managers in leadership and business communication.
