Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a global manufacturer to recruit a Regional EHS Manager based in Singapore. You will lead EHS programs across Asia, including Singapore, China and Korea, reporting to the Global EHS Director.

Key duties include policy development, risk assessments, compliance, training delivery, incident investigations and driving continuous improvement to strengthen safety culture. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in EHS, with ISO 14001/45001 and bizSAFE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, OH&S, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 familiarity; Singapore bizSAFE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental, health, and safety programs across Asia operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and corporate EHS regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental compliance: waste, hazardous materials, permits, reporting.
• Lead industrial hygiene monitoring and workplace exposure assessments.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, response planning, and business continuity.
• Deliver EHS training and drive employee engagement to strengthen safety culture.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other management system requirements.
• Partner with site leaders and regional stakeholders to achieve objectives.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing sector.
• Chemical handling, hazard communication, and/or HAZMAT certifications is a PLUS
• Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring and environmental management programs.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Singapore bizSAFE requirements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a regional role supporting multiple countries.
