Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced EHS leader to design and drive policies that ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role focuses on environmental permits, reporting, hazardous materials, and waste, while promoting safety and hygiene across sites. You will lead training, emergency preparedness, risk management, and audit readiness, coordinating with authorities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 10+ years EHS experience, with 4+ years regional.
• Chemical/Petrochemical manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EHS policies and programs across multiple jurisdictions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee environmental compliance, permits, reporting, and management of hazardous materials and waste.
• Drive workplace safety and industrial hygiene: hazard identification, exposure monitoring, incident prevention.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions for continuous safety improvement.
• Design and deliver EHS training to build workforce engagement and capability.
• Lead emergency preparedness, risk management, and audit readiness with authorities and stakeholders.
• Support APAC EHS strategy by aligning site practices and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee environmental compliance, including permits, reporting, and management of hazardous materials, waste, air, and water standards.
• Drive workplace safety and industrial hygiene initiatives, including hazard identification, exposure monitoring, and incident prevention.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions to foster a strong culture of continuous safety improvement
• Design and deliver EHS training programs while building workforce engagement, accountability, and capability within teams.
• Lead emergency preparedness, risk management, and audit readiness, ensuring effective coordination with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Support regional EHS strategy across Asia-Pacific by aligning site practices, addressing local regulatory needs, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 10 years of EHS experience, with at least 4 years of Regional EHS
• Chemical/Petrochemical Manufacturing experience
