Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd invites applications for the Regional Assistant Manager / Manager (Quality & EHS | Power Plant) position in Singapore. The role leads QEHS programs across local and regional sites and sustains ISO certifications while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will drive audits, trainings, incident investigations, and risk controls while coordinating with regulators and customers; travel to regional sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Quality/Industrial Management or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience to manage QEHS in power plants, EPC, industrial plants, or Oil & Gas.
• Proven track record in leading ISO external audits regionally, maintaining bizSAFE certificate, and sustainability reporting.
• Deep knowledge in QMS ISO, Risk Assessment, and Root-cause analysis.
• Understand the regional APAC safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QEHS activities locally and regionally, ensuring KPI targets are met.
• Maintain ISO 9001/14001/45001 integrated management systems.
• Plan and lead internal audits; coordinate external certification and surveillance.
• Deliver QEHS inductions and maintain training records.
• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare reports and preventive measures.
• Maintain bizSAFE certificate and plan renewal audits.
• Monitor Singapore WSH changes and ensure permits and inspections are current.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee both local Singapore and Regional QEHS activities, programs, and KPI.
• Maintain & continuously improve company Integrated/Quality Management Systems (ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001).
• Plan and lead internal audits and coordinate external certification and surveillance audits.
• Cascade company objectives into departmental targets metrics on (1)Periodic Management Review Meetings; (2) R eport progress, nonconformities, and improvement actions to ensure the targets of departments and the company will be achieved.
• Develop and deliver QEHS inductions and refresher programs for staff and site personnel; maintain training matrix and competency records.
• Lead and perform regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices,or potential risksand ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and follow up
  on preventive measures.
• Maintain bizSAFE certificate, plan and lead external audit for the certification renewal.
• Monitor changes to Singapore WSH and any other requirements.
  ensure permits, licenses, and statutory inspections are current; liaise withregulators and third-party auditors as needed; plan and lead external auditregarding to QEHS.
• Consolidate and submit safety performance, environmental metrics, and quality KPIs per corporate schedules; ensure data integrity and auditability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational
  Safety & Health, Quality/Industrial Management or related).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience to manage QEHS in the industry of
  power plants, EPC, industrial plants, or Oil & Gas.
• Proven track record in leading and handling the ISO external audit regionally, maintain bizSAFE certificate, and sustainability reporting.
• Deep knowledge in QMS ISO, Risk Assessment, and Root-cause analysis.
• Understand the Regional - APAC Safety standard.
• Willing to travel to sites locally & Regional.
