Triton AI Pte Ltd is seeking a Regional Product Safety Manager to lead chemical regulatory compliance across Asia, oversee safety assessments, and drive regulatory strategies. The role partners with the Regulatory Manager to secure approvals and ensure alignment with evolving regulations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product safety or stewardship in chemicals, strong leadership, and experience with regional authorities and trade associations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline.
• Professional certification related to regulatory affairs or product stewardship is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of product safety or product stewardship experience in chemicals, life sciences, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of chemical regulatory frameworks across Asia.
• Familiarity with global chemical regulations and standards such as REACH, UK REACH, TSCA, and GHS.
• Experience engaging with regulatory authorities, industry associations, or external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership experience, coaching and developing a small team.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements across jurisdictions in a regional setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsabilidades

• Lead regional chemical regulatory compliance across Asia for business units and manufacturing operations.
• Oversee product safety assessments, health and safety risk evaluations, and toxicological data reviews.
• Direct regional product safety resources and projects with Regulatory Manager; obtain management approvals.
• Advise on regulatory obligations and new substance notification strategies; assess legislative changes.
• Represent the company with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
• Maintain SAP EHS and supporting databases to strengthen compliance processes.
• Manage product stewardship activities including HPV commitments, SDS, and labeling.
• Act as technical liaison with PCPC, ACC, SDA, and other trade associations.
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Develop and deliver regional regulatory training programmes.
• Lead and develop Product Safety Advisors through allocation, reviews, and training.

Regional Product Safety Manager

Remuneration Package: Up to $9,500 + AWS + Attractive Company Bonus

Key Requirements: Strong knowledge of chemical regulatory frameworks across Asia countries

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional chemical regulatory compliance, supporting business units and manufacturing operations across Asia.
• Oversee product safety assessments, health and safety risk evaluations, and the preparation and review of toxicological and ecotoxicological data.
• Partner with Regulatory Manager to direct regional product safety and regulatory resources and projects, obtaining management approval for final recommendations.
• Advise on regulatory obligations and new substance notification strategies, assess legislative changes and recommend appropriate business actions.
• Represent the company in discussions with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
• Maintain and improve regulatory compliance systems, including SAP EHS and supporting databases, to strengthen processes and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Manage product stewardship activities, including HPV commitments, hazard communication, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and product labelling.
• Act as the technical liaison and company advocate with PCPC, ACC, SDA, and other trade associations.
• Provide practical regulatory guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders, including support for customer communications.
• Develop and deliver regional regulatory training programmes.
• Lead and develop Product Safety Advisors through work allocation, performance reviews, development planning, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline.
• Professional certification related to regulatory affairs or product stewardship in chemicals is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of product safety or product stewardship experience in chemical, life sciences, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of chemical regulatory frameworks across Asia countries.
• Familiarity with global chemical regulations and standards, such as REACH, UK REACH, TSCA, and GHS.
• Experience engaging with regulatory authorities, industry associations, or external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and managing a small team to achieve regulatory objectives.
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions and supporting business operations within a regional environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
