A global leader in animal nutrition in Singapore is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist. Responsible for analyzing and revising forecasts, leading regional demand reviews, and collaborating with multicultural teams. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in tools like Futur Master. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

• Process owner of regional demand planning, covering APAC regions and 3 SBU
• Provide the forecast vision to RBM/RCM by reviewing / analyzing the statistical forecast
• Review the statistical forecast and provide Category/Country managers a vision
• Consolidate market insights inputs to lead the regional demand review meeting
• Provide in Futurmaster the validated forecast

Responsibilities

1. Revise the monthly statistical forecast on a 12 months horizon
   1. Analyze SFA monthly to understand main gaps
   2. Review monthly statistical forecast, choosing the best algorithm fit and clean historical data when needed
   3. Review master data to make sure NODES are well updated
2. Provide Category/country managers vision on Forecast
   1. Provide analysis on forecast accuracy
   2. Give first explanation on changes made on statistical forecast versus last month
   3. Consolidate market insight inputs from RBM/RCM/ASM
   4. Guarantee futurmaster is set correctly
   5. Align final forecast to be presented on RDR
3. Lead the regional demand review meeting
   1. Explanation on SFA Results
   2. Provide the region a vision on the forecast
   3. Explain changes versus last cycle and comparison with Budget / QBR in volumes
   4. Present Risk and opportunities discussed with RBM/RCM/ASM
   5. Align on final forecast to be submitted
4. Forecast submission
   1. Guarantee forecast registered in FM is aligned with the forecast agreed during RDR
   2. Provide a consolidate regional feedback to global demand manager
   3. Adjust the forecast if required after global submission

Qualifications

• Strong data analyzing and synthesis capacities
• Experience on working with multi cultural teams
• Experience in using a Demand Planning Tool (ideally Futur Master / or Blue Yonder – SAP APO-IBP – OMP)
• Profile
  • Required experience and hard skills:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in a Demand Planning role
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization and in a multi-cultural environment
  • Expert proficiency with Excel & Powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of demand planning processes & tools – experience with Futur Master is a plus
  • Working knowledge of an ERP – experience with SAP is a plus
  • English/Mandarin fluent
