Job summary

Castlery, based in Singapore, is seeking a Regional Demand Planner to translate market insights into accurate forecasts and inventory plans that support sustainable growth. The role sits in the International Markets regional team and focuses on turning category and market data into actionable demand strategies.

You will partner with Category Planning, Marketing and Sales to drive assortment decisions, product development and pricing, while maintaining stock availability and forecast accuracy

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Category Planning or another analytically driven commercial role within retail, ecommerce or a consumer business.
• Strong commercial instincts with numerical aptitude to translate insights into recommendations.
• Strong category mindset with understanding of assortment planning, product lifecycle management, pricing and promotions.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own SKU-level demand forecasting across the active assortment on a rolling 9 to 12-month basis, incorporating trends, seasonality, marketing activity, product launches, pricing and inventory availability.
• Review category and SKU performance, inventory health and availability to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Category Planning to shape seasonal product development, assortment strategy, lifecycle management and discontinuation decisions.
• Develop forecasts for new product launches and track post-launch performance for optimisation.
• Review pricing performance and competitive benchmarks to support pricing recommendations.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to incorporate campaigns into forecasts and accelerate demand.
• Lead demand inputs during monthly S&OP, highlighting risks and opportunities across sales, inventory and availability.
• Plan inventory flow with Supply Chain and Procurement, maintaining stock availability against demand.
• Work with BI and stakeholders to continuously improve forecasting methodologies and reporting.
