Job summary

Shangri-La Singapore is seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our Health Club Team. You will support daily operations, ensure cleanliness of the gym and pool areas, and attend to guest inquiries with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a gym/hospitality setting, basic English, and CPR/First Aid certification. Shift work including weekends is required to support guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in gym, fitness facility, hotel or country club.
• Basic spoken and written English.
• Preferably CPR and First Aid certification.
• Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
• Prior experience in hospitality or guest service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Health Club and its facilities.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the gym, pool, changing rooms and recreational facilities.
• Attend to guest and member enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Handle guest and member registration and cashiering duties.
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas.
• Ensure gym equipment, towels and facilities are properly maintained and replenished.
• Report maintenance issues to the relevant departments promptly.
• Uphold hotel service, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
