Job summary

A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Receptionist and Printing Operator for a 12-month contract. Responsibilities include managing the front office, assisting students in the sick bay, processing printing requests, and providing administrative support. Job description
Receptionist duties
  • Assist to man General Office counter, answering phone calls and handling walk-ins requests from students, staff and stakeholders during assigned hours.
  • Attend to students who are unwell or injured in the sick bay.
  • Record attendance of late coming students.
  • During holidays will collate hardcopy Financial Assistance Application forms, check all required documents submitted, update staff mailbox and Organisation Chart.
  • Perform administrative support such as data entry, collation of data and statistics when required.
  • Provide manpower support during ad-hoc school activities and events (such as refreshment, phototaking day, award day, NRIC registration).
  • Any other duties assigned by the school leaders & administration manager.
Printing Operator Duties
  • To process printing requests from the staff of the Authority.
  • Monitor and replenish the consumables associated with the operation of the printing machines.
  • Fulfil any printing requests submitted by the staff of the Authority within 3 working days, excluding the day the printing request is received.
  • Update job status and assist in tabulating, on a monthly basis, the amount of printing carried out using the machines supplied by the vendor.
  • Perform regular checks to ensure schools printing machines are functional and support on the operational needs as required.
  • Perform scanning, laminating, binding and finishing operations.
Requirements
  • Able to speak and read simple English, operate photocopying machine.
  • Minimum PSLE or equivalent certificate.
  • 2 years working experience in receptionist work or in school environment.
  • Physically fit, meticulous, independent, efficient and pro-active.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Basic PC skills (using email and update Excel spreadsheets).
Duration / Working hours
  • 12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026
  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

Tentative working hours, subjected to change based on school needs.

  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
