Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore is seeking a Metro Real-time Defect Analysis (RDA) Process & Equipment Engineer to develop, deploy, and sustain RDA capabilities across advanced packaging and NPI environments.

You will integrate process knowledge with automation insights to improve tool stability, monitor signals, and accelerate learning during NPI, pilot, and ramp phases, partnering with Process, Equipment, and IT teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Materials, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related discipline).
0–2 years in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, process engineering, equipment engineering, or RDA/automation roles.
Experience with NPI, pilot lines, or early production ramps preferred.
Understanding of semiconductor equipment systems, process control concepts, and manufacturing variability.
Hands-on experience with SPC/FDC, RDA platforms, or manufacturing data systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Develop and sustain RDA monitoring strategies aligned to advanced packaging process requirements and equipment behavior.
Translate process and equipment knowledge into effective SPC, FDC, and RDA rules, alarms, and diagnostics.
Identify equipment-related process sensitivities, interactions, and failure modes, particularly during NPI and early ramp.
Drive improvements in tool stability, repeatability, and process window control through data-driven insights.
Support deployment and tuning of new RDA capabilities, scripts, dashboards, and automation logic for new tools and package types.
Ensure monitoring strategies evolve appropriately as NPI transitions to HVM.
