Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Singapore is seeking a Shift Engineer for Metro Real-time Defect Analysis to ensure stable, safe operation of advanced packaging platforms during NPI ramps and early production.

You will act as the first-line responder to alarms, perform first-pass root-cause analysis, monitor tool health with RDA metrics, and collaborate with Process, Equipment, NPI, and IT teams for rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials, Industrial, Computer Engineering, or related).
0–2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, or automation; NPI/pilot experience preferred.
Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment; strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work for efficiency and quality.
Identify, select, and deliver new processes, equipment, or technology to support NPI needs.
Monitor tool health, respond to alarms and excursions, perform root-cause analysis.
Provide shift handover and maintain documentation for continuity.
Support deployment and sustainment of new RDA capabilities and dashboards.
