Job summary

Vistra in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting (Real Estate) to manage client portfolios, oversee accounting processes, and ensure compliant reporting. The role requires coordinating with multiple teams and guiding junior staff in fund operations.

You will review statements, capital calls, and waterfall calculations, while drafting IFRS/US GAAP disclosures and INREV reporting. A strong accounting background and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance with professional qualification.
• At least 5-6 years of accounting/auditing experience, with 3+ years in Real Estate Fund.
• Knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP.
• INREV reporting knowledge preferred.
• Strong client relations, leadership and time management.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary client service contact for assigned portfolio.
• Lead discussions with clients on operational matters and critical issues.
• Review financial statements, management accounts and packages.
• Draft disclosure wordings for IFRS/US GAAP and INREV reporting.
• Review Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values.
• Understand fund documents and explain terms to the team.
• Review capital calls and distributions.
• Prepare waterfall and equalization workings.
• Coordinate with Fund investors on reporting requirements.
• Address ad hoc investor requests.
• Collaborate with Cash Management, Investor Services, Corporate Secretarial and Vistra offices.
• Provide training on accounting and real estate topics.
• Undertake admin and special projects as assigned.
