Job summary

AMETHYST ASIA PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our client’s team in Singapore.

You will manage existing client relationships and oversee fund accounting services for Real Estate funds, ensuring timely financial statements and accurate allocations. You will liaise with auditors, lawyers, and property managers, review monthly/quarterly packages, and contribute to on-boarding of new funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of accounting, audit or fund accounting experience with Real Estate exposure.
• Strong client relationship and team management skills.
• Solid knowledge of real estate industry and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing client relationships to provide fund accounting services.
• Review and prepare fund accounting deliverables for Real Estate clients, including financial statements and allocations.
• Liaise with clients to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and oversee monthly/quarterly reporting packages.
• Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and partner transfers; liaise with auditors and legal counsel.

Job description

Our client is aninternational fund administration firm that provides a range of services suchas fund accounting to clients in the alternative asset management industryincluding Real Estate Funds. As thebusiness continues to grow, they are looking for seasoned professionals to jointhe team and the role is based in Singapore

Key responsibilities:

• Manage existing client relationships to provide fund accounting services to them
• Review and prepare fund Accounting services to Real Estate clients including preparing financial statements, limited partner and general partner allocations, full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting, financial data analysis etc
• Liaise with clients for timely and good quality deliverables
• Review and manage the preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting package and working papers
• Oversee the preparation of capital calls, distributions, partner transfers and reports etc
• Review real estate fund client’s partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials
• Act as a liaison with various internal /external parties such as auditors, legal counsel, property management companies
• Assist in new fund on-boarding and collaborate with other departments

Key requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, or professional accounting qualification
• At least 5 years of accounting, audit, fund accounting experience with Real Estate industry exposure
• Good client relationship management and team management skills
• Good real estate industry knowledge
• Strong communication skills, motivated and diligent
• Good analytical skills, ability to work with different stakeholders
• Knowledge of Yardi is a pus
