Job summary

HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited seeks a senior AVP RBWM Risk and Control RBWM CCO to strengthen governance across non-financial risk and resilience. You will partner with Risk, IT, and business teams to embed risk-aware decision making and oversee control effectiveness.

The role focuses on incident management, regulatory reporting, and ensuring resilience across product journeys and operations for a globally connected wealth and private banking franchise.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Operational Risk and Controls.
• Experience with information security risk and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive remediation.

Responsibilities

• Act as First Line of Defence for risk and control management across RBWM.
• Embed risk considerations into product strategies, customer journeys and end-to-end processes.
• Coordinate with Data Privacy and risk SMEs on incident reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Challenge IT change and other initiatives to ensure non-financial risk is understood and mitigated.
• Establish and maintain operational controls aligned to the Group framework.
• Lead reviews to identify gaps in control design and uplift discipline.
• Promote a culture of risk and compliance across the business.
