Job summary

SBS Transit Limited is seeking an AFC maintenance technician to ensure the safety, reliability and availability of AFC systems across our transit network in Singapore. The role includes maintaining Transit Link Ticketing Kiosk (TUK) as an outsourced contractor and coordinating with multiple stations and depots.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, liaise with contractors for modification works, respond quickly to system faults, and contribute to sustainability through proper

Qualifications

Higher Nitec in Electronics/Information Technology or Nitec in Electronics (Computer Technology)/info-communication Technology.
Preferably 3 years of experience in mechanical/electronic/electrical engineering systems.
Good network knowledge.

Responsibilities

Liaise with contractors for modification works at NEL/DTL/SPLRT stations and Depot.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to work instructions and procedures.
Ensure fast response in clearing system faults and carrying out repair service works.
Maintain Transit Link TUK to requirements and report monthly for compliance.
Perform engineering tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Maintain good waste management for sustainability.

Job description

Primary Objectives of Position

Performing maintenance of the AFC equipment to ensure that the safety, reliability and availability of the systems meet the standards.
Maintain Transit Link Ticketing Kiosk (TUK) as an outsource contractor and ensure all the works are accordance to requirements.
Assist to implement LTA AFC project for renewal and replacement.

Major Responsibilities

To liaise with contractors for the modification works to be done at NEL/DTL/SPLRT stations and Depot.
To perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance to the work instructions and procedure.
To ensure fast response in clearing system faults and carrying out repair service works.
To maintain Transit Link TUK to requirements and report monthly for compliance.
To perform any Engineering work or tasks as being assigned by Supervisor.
To maintenance a good waste management for sustainability.
