Job summary

SBS Transit Limited is hiring a maintenance technician to operate and maintain the NEL OCS and DC traction power equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and availability to meet MRT operational requirements.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, adherence to work instructions, and keeping accurate records. It requires the ability to enforce safety rules and protect staff and contractors on MRT premises.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• HV and DC traction equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills; team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works for NEL OCS system.
• Ensure work carried out are in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
• Maintain system and update work records.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
• Enforce Departmental Work Instructions and all Rail related safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure safety of departmental staff, related contractors and others working on the Electrical Power distribution & OCS system in the MRT premises.

Minimum Education / Qualifications
