Job summary

STMicroelectronics PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented software developer to join the Test R&D Software Solution team within the Global Technology R&D organization. You will build scalable software platforms that accelerate testing design and automate equipment processes, enabling efficient test manufacturing and robotization readiness.

The role requires collaboration across factories, IT, product groups, quality, finance and executives to deliver robust test cell

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering or computer science.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• 1–2 years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the semiconductor sector.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Java and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of Git and versioning.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL, SQLite.
• Knowledge of XML and XSD formats.

Responsibilities

• To develop and qualify the test cell controller and test execution frameworks used in the manufacturing environment.
• To develop and release tools or system focusing on test data processing at product level.
• Analyzing processes to automate them using standard technology bricks.
• To design, develop and release tools or systems focusing on test development and process monitoring tools.
• Conducting technical and economic benchmarks between different software solutions.
• Reporting the project status to executive managers.
