Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited in Singapore invites a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our HQ in Ang Mo Kio. You will lead conceptual and detailed design of electro-mechanical systems, perform structural, thermal and FMEA analyses, and coordinate prototype fabrication.

You should have a Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks. Familiarity with GD&T, plastics molding, sheet metal, and Python is a plus.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
Experience in design for plastic molding, sheet metal stamping, machining and extrusion.
Familiarity with lab automation equipment (motion control, fluidic pumps, valves).
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Engage in conceptual and detailed design of mechanical parts and modules, electro-mechanical subsystems, opto-mechanical subsystems, transmission systems and fluidics/pneumatics mechanisms.
Perform structural, thermal management, fluidics, FMEA and DFM analyses to validate and optimise designs.
Present design solutions to clients during technical discussions.
Coordinate fabrication, assembly, and validation of prototypes.
Author specifications, requirements, and validation plans for design modules.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers throughout the product lifecycle.
Support additional duties as assigned by the company.
