Job summary

PVH is seeking a Technical Specialist to deepen product knowledge and apply it in the field, meeting customer expectations through laboratory experiments and on-site support. You will operate SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ICP-MS, XRF, and other analytical equipment, under supervision, to demonstrate capabilities and troubleshoot processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of PVH’s product line and apply it to meet customer expectations.
• Conduct electroplating and surface treatment experiments/DOEs in the laboratory to demonstrate process capability to customers.
• Operate analytical equipment under supervision to support customer demonstrations.
• Visit customer sites to oversee start-up of new chemical and equipment installations.
• Investigate quality complaints to determine root causes and develop corrective actions with Quality and global teams.
• Deliver technical presentations to introduce Technic Products to customers.
• Provide technical training for customers' technical personnel.
• Maintain technical documentation for TAP business (SDS and Technical Data Sheets) with input from regional experts.
• Trouble shoot process parameters to optimize performance.
• Provide technical advice to Account Managers for commercial proposals.
• Generate and maintain complete records for all service activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of our product line and how to apply it in the field to meet customer expectations.
• Conduct electroplating and surface treatment experiments / DOEs in our laboratory to demonstrate our process capability to customers.
• Operate analytical equipment such as SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ICP-MS, Liquid Particle Counter, Karl Fisher and XRF under the supervision of the Technical Director.
• Visit customer sites to oversee the start-up of new chemical and equipment installations
• Investigate quality complaints from customers to determine the root cause of their issue. Work with the Quality team and global resources to develop corrective actions.
• Conduct technical presentations to introduce Technic Products to customers
• Conduct technical training for customers' technical personnel.
• Maintain technical documentation for TAP business, including Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets, sometimes in consultation with experts in other regions
• Trouble shooting process parameters to achieve optimum process performance
• Provide technical advice and information to Account Manager to assist in developing commercial proposals to customers.
• Generate and maintain complete well-organized records for all service activities including service visits.
