Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Research & Development Engineer to conduct experimental research on polymer/chemistry properties and support new product testing and prototype production.

You will collaborate with customers to tailor material configurations and provide technical support. The role requires a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or Polymer, with 1–2 years of related experience (3+ for senior).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Materials Science / Polymer.
• 1–2 years experience; 3+ years for Senior Engineer consideration.
• Knowledge of polymer science and semiconductor materials composition.
• Knowledge of IC package encapsulant and semiconductor back-end processes.
• Knowledge in material characterization and/or FA equipment preferred.
• Experience in DOE, FEM and numerical analysis advantageous.

Job description

Position: Research & Development Engineer

Location : Senoko (Company transport: Various locations along the way from Jurong to office)

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 + AWS + VB

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research on various properties of the Company’s products, as well as analysis and tests to investigate the chemical phenomena of products.
• Responsible for new product testing, development and prototype production; as well as assisting customers during material evaluation and qualification phases with the Company’s products.
• To work closely with customers in the development of suitable material configurations to meet customer needs and providing technical support to them.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Materials Science / Polymer.
• At least 1 – 2 years of working experience in similar capacity. Those with more than 3 years of experience will be considered for Senior Engineer's position.
• Knowledge of polymer science and semiconductor materials composition.
• Knowledge of IC package encapsulant and semiconductor back-end processes.
• Knowledge in material characterization and/or FA equipment is preferred.
• Experience in DOE, FEM and numerical analysis would be advantageous.
