Job Description

• Carry out composite fabrication processes using weaving/braiding, wet layup, resin infusion and hydraulic heat press
• Perform mechanical testing using UTM such as tensile, flexural, lap shear and compression testing
• Perform analytical testing using FESEM, TGA, DSC, XRD and FTIR
• Assist in procurement activities such as sourcing for materials/equipment, liaising and meeting vendors, request for quotations, receiving purchased items
• Perform laboratory maintenance, housekeeping, administration, security and safety
• Analyze, generate and maintain good records of lab reports and activities
• Self-motivated, independent, resourceful, a good team player with good problem solving skills
• Knowledge & experience in polymer/composites processes and material characterization
