Job summary

Ambition Singapore is seeking a seasoned software engineer to develop and deploy EMS, BESS, microgrid and power-system control applications in Singapore. You will design, simulate, test, and validate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++.

You will model and optimize energy systems, collaborate with software, hardware, and power-system engineers, and support prototype development, testing, commissioning, and deployment of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of end-to-end software development and deployment experience for Power SCADA, PMS, power-system controls, industrial automation, EMS, BESS, or microgrid solutions.
• Experience in power systems, energy storage, renewable energy, microgrids, controls, or power electronics.
• Knowledge of EMS, BESS, SCADA, PLC, embedded systems, or industrial automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for applied R&D and innovation.

Ideal Background

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.

5 to 8 years (flexible based on seniority) of experience in end-to-end software development and deployment for Power SCADA, Power Management Systems (PMS), power-system controls, industrial automation, EMS, BESS, or microgrid solutions.

Experience in power systems, energy storage, renewable energy, microgrids, controls, or power electronics.

Knowledge of EMS, BESS, SCADA, PLC, embedded systems, or industrial automation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for applied R&D and innovation.
